[D&D] About the Dark Sun Article by Paizo

以前の記事 [D&D] Dark Sun : Dragon#319, Dungeon#110, and athas.orgで触れた話の続報。
Paizo Bites- A Rantで、「Paizoの編集者は、編集者はデザイナーじゃないのだから、原稿の改変をするな。」と議論になってます。
事の起こりは、Dragon #319's take on DS 3.5のDavid Noonan (WotCの人)の投稿(04-07-04 07:44 PM)です。Dragon誌の原稿は私のとは全然違う、という訴えで、例えば元原稿では、"There are no bards, monks, paladins, or sorcerers in Dark Sun."と書いてあったそうです。但し彼は、"While I don’t agree with some of the decisions the Dragon editors made, it’s absolutely their right to make those decisions."とも言っていて、Paizoによる改変はPaizoの権利だとも言っている。各DMが勝手にルールを直して使え、ということらしい。
Athas.org側のNathan P. Guestは、"The Athas.org version of Dark Sun 3.5 is official, but so is Paizo's."と書いてますね。私だったら素直にAthas.orgからダウンロードして使いますが、ある種のルーリング(何でもありキャンペーンでDragon誌は使用可とか)ではそうも行かないよな。
